Privacy and data deletion
DRAFT: needs owner and legal review before launch.
What we keep. If you sign in: your first name, your email if you give or share it, and a scrambled (hashed) sign-in identifier. If you use Facebook sign-in we get your name and email only, never post for you, and do not keep Facebook's access token. We also keep your test attempts, your consent choices (with the wording you saw) and simple usage events.
Guests. A guest gets a temporary account so a test can be scored. It has no name or email.
Why. To run the practice tests, show results and history, run the leaderboard and daily prize, and, only if you tick the boxes, send tips or information.
Age. You must be 16 or over to sign in.
Delete my data. Open Me and press “Delete my data”. This removes your account, sign-in details, consents and attempts straight away. If you signed in with Facebook you can also remove the app in Facebook settings; Facebook then calls our deletion address and we delete your data, giving a confirmation code.
Contact. To be added before launch.
Independent practice tests: not the official CITB test and not affiliated with CITB or the organisations that run it.
